How to Play Guitar for Absolute Newbies
Many people want to learn to play guitar. It is one of the most popular musical instrument. And it’s very simple.
First of all you should learn the basics. When it comes to learning to play the guitar, you should learn first how to care of your instrument and how to play notes and chords.The guitar is very fragile and if you do not care for it properly you will not be able to play it.
After that you should learn is how to tune your guitar. You can buy special device – tuner. It can help you to tune your guitar within minute. Another method is to tune the guitar by ear. If you play in band, it’s necessary to tune all instruments by tuner. But if you just playing alone or for your friends, you can tune your guitar by ear.
Once you have learned how to tune your guitar you should start learning basic chords. Almost all songs can be played on guitar using chords.
Once you have mastered these skills your beginner guitar lessons can move forward in teaching you how to actually play your instrument. Before you can learn to play chords, however, you must take the time to familiarize yourself with individual notes so that you can recognize them quickly and so your fingers will become comfortable positioning themselves on the strings.
Chords are the fundamental part of any song. It is that simple. However, some chords are trickier than others. Once the student has practiced enough and gained a good deal of confidence, more challenging chords and transitions may be made available. Once you have mastered these basic skills in your beginner guitar lessons you will be able to move on to the intermediate level, but do not rush yourself – the more you practice in the beginning, the better the guitarist you will be later on.
When you know how to play chords you can try to learn solo playing. Guitar solos revolve around the improvisation of scales. Just try to play notes from any scale and you’ll see that you can make solo yourself. The major, minor, harmonic and pentatonic scales are the most useful. Play every day all this scales and you’ll improve your solo skills vety fast.
